In Thomas, the Blues get a seasoned AHL scorer who has toiled in 32 big-league games, so far. The 25-year-old winger stands a better chance at NHL ice time in struggling St. Louis.
What does it give the Los Angeles Kings
For the Kings, adding Alexandrov provides more center depth for a team that will be losing captain Anze Kopitar after this season due to retirement. He is a decent depth option.
