JETS ACQUIRE McARDLE FOR ESPOSITO

The Winnipeg Jets acquired winger Kenndal McArdle from the Florida Panthers for center Angelo Esposito.

What does it give the Winnipeg Jets
In a swap of failed prospects, the Jets land gritty McArdle. He's an energy player who simply doesn't have the hockey sense to be anything more than a role player in the NHL. Still, he could see time in Winnipeg.

What does it give the Florida Panthers
Esposito has talent, but he's quite fragile and has battled serious injuries in his young career. He gets a fresh start with the Panthers, though expect Esposito to spend all of 2011-12 in the AHL.
