The St. Louis Blues acquired forward Adam Cracknell from the Columbus Blue Jackets for future considerations.

The Blues are familiar with Cracknell, who played in St. Louis in parts of four seasons prior to 2014-15. He'll provide some depth and versatility (he can line up at all three forward positions).
What does it give the Columbus Blue Jackets
The Blue Jackets are not playoff bound this season, so they'll be sellers throughout this year's trade deadline. Cracknell wasn't a part of the team's future, so they decided to send him back to a familiar place.
Fantasy impact
Cracknell is not fantasy-relevant at the NHL level, so a return to the Blues organization won't change anything.
