MIKE BROWN TO TORONTO

The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired winger Mike Brown from the Anaheim Ducks for a fifth-round draft pick in 2010.

What does it give the Toronto Maple Leafs
Brown is another member of the 2007 Stanley Cup champion Ducks to join Toronto, after defenseman Francois Beauchemin and goalie J-S Giguere. Brown will be used as a penalty-killer and energy player for the Leafs. He fits Brian Burke's preferred style perfectly.

What does it give the Anaheim Ducks
The Ducks decided to move Brown out, and they'll likely replace him with a younger player (perhaps Troy Bodie or Dan Sexton). Anaheim selected winger Christopher Wagner with the pick obtained for Brown.
