The Carolina Hurricanes acquired defenseman Dennis Robertson from the Chicago Blackhawks for goaltender Drew MacIntyre.

The Hurricanes like Robertson and wanted him back, after including him in a September trade to acquired Kris Versteeg (recently dealt to LA). The 24-year old provides more depth to the young 'Canes.
What does it give the Chicago Blackhawks
MacIntyre might be Chicago's emergency goaltender in this year's playoffs. If anything happens to either Corey Crawford or Scott Darling, the Blackhawks may choose to recall MacIntyre as the third stringer.
Fantasy impact
Robertson won't make an impact in fantasy circles anytime soon, while MacIntyre is merely a depth goaltender. Nothing to see here.
