TUCKER TRADED TO MILWAUKEE

The Milwaukee Bucks acquired forwards P.J. Tucker and Rodions Kurucs, a second-round draft pick in 2021 and a conditional first-round draft pick in 2022 from the Houston Rockets for guard D.J. Augustin, center/forward D.J. Wilson, a conditional first-round draft pick in 2021 and a first-round draft pick in 2023.

What does it give the Milwaukee Bucks
In Tucker, the Bucks get a tough, hard-nosed forward with a nice outside touch. He should work his way into the Milwaukee rotation and become a key piece off the bench down the stretch. Kurucs is mostly a project forward, while the first-round pick acquired in this deal was originally owned by the Bucks. So, they are getting their pick back.

What does it give the Houston Rockets
Tucker was on the block for a little while, so it is no surprise that he was dealt by Houston. The key to the deal from a Rockets standpoint is the unprotected first-round draft pick in '23, but Wilson might also become a valuable piece if he can put it all together. Augustin is a solid veteran point guard who should back up fellow vet John Wall in Houston.

Fantasy impact
None of the players traded here are must-own fantasy players. Tucker's value remains limited after the deal, as is the case for Augustin. Both Wilson and Kurucs have untapped upside but only Wilson is likely to receive an opportunity to showcase it. Still, he is not recommendable at this time.
