BEVERLEY FOR PAYNE
The Milwaukee Bucks acquired guard Patrick Beverley from the Philadelphia 76ers for guard Cameron Payne and a second-round draft pick in 2027.
What does it give the Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks get a more defensive guard to come off the bench in Beverley, a veteran with championship pedigree and loads of playoff experience. He can start if need be, too.
What does it give the Philadelphia 76ers
For the 76ers, adding Payne gives them a better floor general and passer as the backup point guard. The Sixers also got a future second-round pick, so this is a solid move.
Fantasy impact
Both Beverley and Payne will play behind two outstanding point guards in Damian Lillard (Milwaukee) and Tyrese Maxey (Philadelphia). Therefore, their fantasy impact will be limited.
