STEPHEN JACKSON TO MILWAUKEE IN 3-TEAMER

In a three-team trade, the Charlotte Bobcats acquired Corey Maggette from the Milwaukee Bucks and rights to Bismack Biyombo from the Sacramento Kings, the Kings acquired John Salmons and the rights to Jimmer Fredette from the Bucks, and the Bucks acquired Beno Udrih from the Kings, Stephen Jackson, Shaun Livingston and the rights to Tobias Harris from the Bobcats.

What does it give the Milwaukee Bucks
After their big letdown last season the Bucks are in re-tooling mode, and here they add some very solid pieces to get back on track. Jackson can provide above-average scoring, well-rounded play, and some leadership at the 2-guard spot (assuming he's happy with this move), and will be key here since Milwaukee struggled so much to score in 2010-11. Meanwhile Udrih and Livingston bring solid playmaking depth to the Bucks backcourt, and Harris adds another versatile talent to the frontcourt.

What does it give the Charlotte Hornets
The Bobs have really decimated their veteran core over the last year or so, with Jackson joining Tyson Chandler and Gerald Wallace on the way out. So clearly Charlotte is in rebuilding mode, and Maggette will likely emerge as their top scorer and a veteran presence they can lean on. They also move up in the draft here to scoop up Biyombo, who should emerge as a good defense-first center (if not more) for them eventually.

What does it give the Sacramento Kings
The big key here for the Kings was picking up Salmons while also staying high enough in the draft to land Fredette, who should emerge as their point guard of the next decade or so (with Tyreke Evans possibly moving to shooting guard). Salmons has played with the Kings before, and could thrive in a less prominent role than he had with the Bucks.
