Biyombo and the Suns agreed to a contract Saturday, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.
Biyombo had six points (3-6 FG, 0-1 FT), seven rebounds and two blocks over 17 minutes during Sunday's 114-104 victory over the 76ers.
A high-energy defensive playmaker in the paint. Explosive, athletic, and very quick for a big man. Brings a fantastic wingspan (over 7-foot-6), and uses his great length, reach, and power to intimidate shooters as a rim protector. Physical, feisty, & instictive rebounding the ball. Hard to stop on alley-oops and put-backs. Mostly limited offensively to setting picks and rolling to the bucket for alley-oops and offensive boards. Offers very little in the way of a shooting stroke, passing ability, and ball-handling. Has taken awhile to find his niche as a pro.
Long Range Potential: Explosive, streaky, sometimes-dominant defense-first center.
