The Los Angeles Clippers acquired guard/forward Quentin Richardson from the Memphis Grizzlies for forward Zach Randolph.
What does it give the Los Angeles Clippers
'Q' returns to the club that drafted him in 2000, following four disappointing campaigns in New York. He's still an above-average swingman and a very good rebounder for a perimeter shooter, so look for him to provide regular minutes backing up young starters Al Thornton and Eric Gordon.
What does it give the Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizz needed to beef up their post scoring and Randolph will help out right away in that regard. With 2009 first-rounder Hasheem Thabeet also in the mix, Memphis may finally have enough size up front to compete with the beefier teams in the Western Conference.
