A fluid and fearless outside shooter who could be fantastic when on a roll. Also a very good rebounder for a wing player, even when he was playing guard. A good athlete who always played bigger than his size. Was also efficient taking care of the ball, and able to play several different positions on the floor. Was inconsistent (especially with his shot)--both game-to-game and season-to-season--and could hurt his team at times by forcing too many ill-advised attempts. Despite solid defense he didn't pile up steals or blocks. Was somewhat injury-prone as well.
