CLIPPERS GET ERIC BLEDSOE

The Los Angeles Clippers acquired the rights to guard Eric Bledsoe from the Oklahoma City Thunder for a future first-round draft pick.

What does it give the Los Angeles Clippers
Starting Clips point guard Baron Davis appeared to slow down a bit last season and at 31 is no spring chicken. Enter Bledsoe, who's not yet ready to run an NBA offense but may be stellar a couple of years from now. The future first-rounder the Clippers give up may have been a little steep price-wise, but Bledsoe is a solid point-guard-of-the-future for L.A.

What does it give the Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder already have a rising young superstar at the point in Russell Westbrook and a very promising backup in Eric Maynor, so Bledsoe wasn't needed for their present or future. Getting another first-rounder for him here is yet another coup for Thunder management.
