Smart has sustained a shoulder injury during Saturday's preseason game against the Giants and his return is questionable, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Scouting Report
Very forceful as a bull rusher and will regularly post tackles for losses. Possesses pretty good wingspan for his size, helping him with his run-stopping ability. Fairly well-rounded despite a lack of ideal D-tackle size. Brings a high motor. Not well-sized for a pro defensive tackle, limiting his versatility; lacks both height and bulk wise for the inside of the pro D-line. Also significantly struggles in space speed-wise to stay with opponents.
Long Range Potential: Depth defensive tackle.
