Pretty athletic behind center, he flashes a good arm and runs well for a quarterback. Shows solid decision-making instincts and mental toughness. Quickly sees and hits his targets in the short passing game, with capable game-management skills. Can get prepared on a dime. Is a somewhat thin-framed quarterback who wears down and is injury-prone. Is not very accurate on longer throws and could stand to improve his mechanics and footwork in the NFL. Attempts desperation heaves at times, instead of taking the sack and moving on.
Long Range Potential: Inconsistent but solid backup quarterback .
