Was a well-rounded tailback: had enough speed to get the corner, ran with good physicality and power, and flashed good receiving skills. Was a decisive, one-cut runner who usually saw openings well and accelerated through them in a blink. Did not shy away from contact and excelled on the inside. Ran high in his stance from the snap and took a lot of contact (which may have been why he had some ball security issues). Was not a very fluid or elusive playmaker and rarely created yardage patiently. A little undersized for a power back, he possessed only average speed. Was also somewhat injury-prone.

Long Range Potential: Solid, all-round running back, when healthy.
