ZAY JONES JETTISONED TO THE RAIDERS
The Oakland Raiders acquired wide receiver Zay Jones from the Buffalo Bills for a fifth-round draft pick in 2021.
What does it give the Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders are short on receivers, especially after the entire Antonio Brown saga this past preseason. So, the hope here is that Jones can provide a little bit of production (either playing opposite Tyrell Williams on the outside or perhaps in the slot).
What does it give the Buffalo Bills
The Bills gradually stopped utilizing Jones (a sometimes starter) this season, so it makes sense that they dealt him away and got an asset back in return. Duke Williams, who was recently on the practice squad, will likely become the No. 3 wide receiver.
Fantasy impact
There is very little fantasy value to speak of here, as Jones is not likely to get the ball targeted his way enough with the Raiders. Williams remains a dart throw in Buffalo, too.
