The Chicago Bears acquired wide receiver Chase Claypool from the Pittsburgh Steelers for a second-round draft pick in 2023.

What does it give the Chicago Bears
The Bears are in search of more playmakers on offense, so Claypool should get an opportunity to establish himself opposite Darnell Mooney at wide receiver. Claypool has a lot of versatility, but consistency has escaped him so far.

What does it give the Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are acquiring the second-round draft pick that Chicago recently acquired in the Roquan Smith trade with Baltimore. Pittsburgh will move forward with Diontae Johnson and George Pickens as the main wide receivers on the team.

Fantasy impact
The move to Chicago may create more quality playing time for Claypool, who seemed to be getting phased out of the Steelers offense with rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett at the helm. Claypool is definitely worth picking up if available in most leagues.
