Claypool caught two passes for 29 yards in the Bears' 29-13 loss to the Vikings in Week 18, and ended the season with 14 receptions and 140 yards over seven games played after being acquired from Pittsburgh.
Claypool was held without a catch in the Bears' 41-10 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
He could be the ultimate wild card in the passing attack with the special size to create mismatches at every level and the raw speed to separate before and after the catch. Is equipped to overwhelm coverage with his massive frame; his route breaks are quick and precise. Is an intimidating ball carrier and is hard to bring down in space. Also dominant as a blocker and special teams tackler, he flourished as a senior and ranked among the national leaders in touchdowns. His hands and ball tracking lack consistency, resulting in unforced drops and missed targets. A move to tight end in the NFL is possible.
