Had a massive frame and an aggressive nature. Was solid in defensive situations and a decent complementary forward. Could play both center and wing. He was brilliant on face-offs. Was limited in the goal-scoring department at the highest level. Did not always play with enough consistency. Could wear down if used too much. Injuries were also a big issue for him.
