Scouting Report
The next-to-last pick in the 2003 NHL Draft won more than 250 games and settled into a role as a mid-30s veteran backup who mentored younger 'tenders late in his career. Played a butterfly style, he was quick on his skates, and calm and efficient in the crease. Was always capable of stealing games and going on hot streaks, especially if he was not overworked. Was not proactive with his stick and only a fair puck handler. Struggled throughout his NHL career whenever he was asked to play too many games, so he was more of a tandem 'keeper early on in his career and a quality backup late.
Long Range Potential: Quality goaltender.
