Plays with a tremendous amount of energy and the work ethic that is synonymous with his family name. Is not afraid of mixing it up. Can play all three forward positions in the NHL. Lacks the talent level to be placed on a scoring line at the highest level. Needs to get physically stronger in order to play regularly. Has had trouble finding his big-league niche.
