MacEachern suffered a shoulder injury in the minors Jan. 27 that will require surgery, ruling him out the rest of 2023-24, the team announced Tuesday.

Scouting Report
Has a big frame and sound work ethic (few players are able to outhustle him on the ice). However, he can get outmuscled at times at the highest level, so he could stand to add more bulk and strength. A solid scorer in the NCAA ranks, he has become more of a role player since turning pro. Coaches love his workmanlike approach to the game of hockey.
Long Range Potential: Decent depth winger.
