Englund signed a two-year, $2 million contract with LA on Saturday, per Darren Dreger of TSN.
Scouting Report
Owns good hockey sense and plenty of shutdown capability from the back end. Keeps his game fairly simple and limits mistakes in his own zone. Can provide plenty of physical play, as well. Does not handle the puck with aplomb and will never be confused with a power-play quarterback. Does not provide much offense from the back end and needs to become more consistent.
Long Range Potential: Depth defenseman.
