The Chicago Blackhawks acquired forward Adam Gaudette from the Vancouver Canucks for winger Matthew Highmore.

What does it give the Chicago Blackhawks
Gaudette is the better scorer in this deal, so Chicago may end up winning this deal. However, he first needs to fully establish himself as an NHL regular. The Blackhawks also need to figure out what his top position will be (Gaudette can play all three forward positions).

What does it give the Vancouver Canucks
Highmore is more of a bottom-six player at the National Hockey League level than Gaudette, but he is also more reliable and a low-maintenance performer. He should immediately slide into Vancouver's lineup as a grinding winger and possible penalty-killing option.

Fantasy impact
Gaudette has a lot of upside, so moving to Chicago could be a boon for his NHL career. He is worth picking up in many fantasy formats at this time. As for Highmore, he can continue to be ignored in most leagues.
