Once Quick was dealt from LA to Columbus for salary cap reasons, it was only a matter of time before he was traded again. The Jackets will probably use Hutchinson as a backup down the stretch, while the future draft pick is a bonus.
Fantasy impact
Quick could carve out a role with Vegas down the stretch, but his 2022-23 numbers are not great. Buyer beware for those willing to gamble on the veteran netminder. Hutchinson can be ignored in virtually all formats.
