Quick (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, according to Peter Baugh of The Athletic.
One of the NHL's best goalkeepers of the 2010s has seen his athleticism fade a bit as he moves into his late 30s, but he has compensated by improving his positioning and altering his game somewhat to deal with the changes in attacking styles. Plays deeper in his crease than in the past and is less aggressive, which prevents him from taking himself out of the play as much. His competitiveness has never been a problem, but injuries have.
