A true grinder, he made consistent contact, displayed good bat control and usually owned a solid walk/strikeout ratio. Could also steal bases. Had decent pop in his bat. Was limited with the glove in Major League Baseball, which also limited his appearances in the big leagues. Lacked major home-run power at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Contact-hitting infielder.
