Murray agreed to a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training with the Rays on Thursday, MLB.com's Mark Feinsand reports.
Scouting Report
Can strike batters out regularly and be used as a late-inning reliever at the minor-league level. Has a calm demeanor when on the bump. Control can be an issue for him, so he may not be reliable enough to be used in the late innings at the highest level. Also lacks ideal size.
Long Range Potential: Decent reliever.
