Has plenty of experience pitching in the late innings at the minor-league level. Therefore, he is not easily rattled on the mound. Generally throws a lot of strikes and is usually around the strike zone a lot. That trait can also make him a bit too hittable sometimes. Is not a dominant pitcher, which lessens his value as a high-leverage reliever in Major League Baseball.
