Scouting Report
A switch-hitter with good power and a great eye, he routinely worked the count and willingly took piles of walks. Was also a regular home run and RBI threat who could carry his team offensively for stretches. Over time, he became increasingly injury-prone (and reduced to the DH role). Struck out his fair share. Was not a top defensive player, especially when forced to play left field.
Long Range Potential: Excellent switch-hitting run producer.
