Swung a powerful bat with above-average home-run ability. Was patient at the plate and would take his walks. When in the outfield, he had an accurate arm from left field. When he got his pitch he took a huge cut, often leading to too many strikeouts and a middling batting average. Was not an efficient base-runner and was also injury-prone.
