Pitched regularly in the mid-90s with a moving fastball that he could locate well. Also had a good curve and change. Had confidence in his ability to get batters out consistently. Pitched well in the clutch. Injury problems slowed his progress down. Lacked bulk and stamina. At times, he could be done in by the big inning in MLB. Was both versatile and savvy.
