Moran signed a minor-league contract with the Mariners on Tuesday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.
Scouting Report
Makes excellent, consistent contact at the dish. Can hit for a good batting average at all levels. Boasts a very strong, accurate arm when he plays the hot corner. His home-run power is improving with age. Lacks running speed and overall athleticism on defense, especially at third base in Major League Baseball.
Long Range Potential: Quality hitter and corner infielder.
