Cordero was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.
Scouting Report
A former shortstop, he owns a great arm for the outfield (so he can play right field at the highest level). His left-handed power bat can generate a good home-run stroke. His swing is far too long, so strikeouts are a major problem in his offensive game plan. Furthermore, he does not walk enough to compensate for his very long, loopy swing.
Long Range Potential: Athletic, power-hitting outfielder with some upside.
