Scouting Report
As a catcher, his intricate knowledge of the strike zone serves him well both at the dish and behind it. Is an extremely patient hitter who walks a ton and can hit the long ball regularly. The fact he is a left-handed batter as a catcher also has added value in Major League Baseball. Does not hit for average and strikes out too much. Also, he is not a great defender behind the plate so he must produce runs to maximize his appearances at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Big, patient power-hitting catcher with some upside.
