FRAZIER TO THE PALE HOSE IN 3-TEAM SWAP

In a three-team trade, the Chicago White Sox acquired third baseman Todd Frazier from the Cincinnati Reds; the Los Angeles Dodgers acquired pitcher Frankie Montas, outfielder Trayce Thompson and infielder Micah Johnson from the White Sox; the Reds acquired infielders Jose Peraza and Brandon Dixon, plus outfielder Scott Schebler from the Dodgers.

What does it give the Chicago White Sox
The White Sox acquired Brett Lawrie earlier in the off-season, and now land Frazier to play third base. Therefore, Lawrie will probably shift to second base. In Frazier, the Pale Hose landed a great power hitter who could bat cleanup and protect Jose Abreu in 2016. This deal makes Chicago more of a pennant contender.

What does it give the Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers landed three solid young players in Montas, Thompson and Johnson. Montas could compete for a spot in the starting rotation this spring, or he'll move to the bullpen and be groomed for a late-inning role. Thompson and Johnson are good athletes with everyday player potential. Both should compete for roster spot.

What does it give the
The Reds are essentially starting over here, as they now have a cavernous hole at third base. They are also expected to trade 2B Brandon Phillips this off-season. In Peraza, Cincinnati acquired Phillips' potential replacement. Meanwhile, Schebler could see time in left field in 2016, while Dixon should play Triple-A ball.

Fantasy impact
Frazier's fantasy value should remain intact as a new member of the White Sox, while Peraza could see his stock skyrocket if he earns the starting second base job in Cincinnati. Montas and Thompson have excellent keeper-league value, while Johnson is more of a fantasy sleeper who could compete with veteran Chase Utley for LA's starting second base job. Dixon has little value as he is not expected to be an everyday big leaguer.
