What does it give the Detroit Pistons
In Bogdanovic, the Pistons land a sweet-shooting forward who will likely move directly into Detroit's starting five this season. The Pistons are young and improving, so adding Bogdanovic should help them get closer to playoff contention this season.
What does it give the Utah Jazz
It is a little surprising that the rebuilding Jazz failed to land any draft pick compensation in this Bogdanovic deal. Olynyk is a serviceable veteran big man, while Lee is a young guard with a little upside. Neither player is likely to make an impact in Salt Lake City.
Fantasy impact
Bogdanovic should see a spike in fantasy value after this trade. He is a good source of threes and may be a factor for points and rebounds as well. Neither Olynyk nor Lee should be drafted in most league formats this year.
