Edmonds was placed on season-ending injured reserve Monday due to a knee injury, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
Coach Todd Bowles indicated that Edmonds (undisclosed) is likely to begin the coming season on IR, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Has pretty good foot-speed in open space. Strong enough to get the job done running inside. Very explosive and can finish runs impressively. Very agile and sure-footed, with quick moves. Super-quick off the snap. He lacks ideal size overall for running between the tackles. Must prove his small hands won't be an issue with receptions or ball security.
Long Range Potential: Gifted running back with rotational talent.
