Scouting Report
An undersized but productive receiver, he could get lost in coverage and generate explosive gains using both speed and deception. Was adept at catching the ball in the air. He could beat defenders one on one and had excellent grasp of the offense as a former high-school quarterback. His versatility was an asset; he could also line up at running back and be a weapon in the return game. Could be jammed by press coverage due to physical mismatches. Injuries were a major factor with him throughout his NFL career.
