Scouting Report
A true tackling machine, he had a rare knack for reading plays as they unfolded and was explosive getting off blocks in order to get to the ball carrier. Possessed the size and athleticism to handle most blockers and the speed and versatility to cover just about anyone on the field. Lacked elite explosiveness and agility. Was not a natural pass rusher and did not pressure quarterbacks on a constant basis. While he was quite durable, the wear and tear forced him to retire at a very early age.
