A rare mix of very good speed and excellent size for an NFL cornerback, he could be a true shutdown corner when he was on his game. Productive as a tackler, he also made a lot of plays thanks to his aggressive physicality and an explosive ability to break things up. At times he got too physical, and generally took too many penalties. Did not excel when forced to adjust during the play and was not much of an interception threat. There were also questions about his attitude and character early on in his NFL career. Injuries were also a concern.
