A feisty, physical leader in the middle of the O-line. Able to line up capably at center or guard, and brings great strength and effort to his blocks. Gets a lock on immediately off the snap, and then anchors the middle of the line until the whistle. Hard-working on and off the field, and has leadership ability and good NFL bloodlines. Neither a fast nor fluid athlete, and gets off balance sometimes when dealing with explosive bull-rushers and when pulling out to the second level. Lacks ideal arm length for the position, so needs to lean heavily on his technique and effort to get the job done.
