Scouting Report
Had one of the best combinations of quickness and hands in NHL history. Was an exceptionally smooth skater and also underrated in terms of leadership. Lethal with the man advantage, the 'Finnish Flash' can pick a corner or blow by a defenseman. Lost some of his playmaking skills over time, and wasn't as effective in the defensive zone late in his career. Could struggle to produce good numbers when playing in a defensive-minded system. At times late in his career, he showed his age.
Long Range Potential: One of the premier goal-scorers in NHL history.
