Played a solid up-and-down game, and was a throwback winger who loved to check and do the dirty work. Strong on the puck, he was versatile enough to line up on either wing. Was a good scorer in close and a good scrapper. Concussion issues wreaked havoc with his career towards the end, causing him to retire early. Could be a bit too streaky in the goal-scoring department. Also, he was not an elegant skater; he was somewhat of a plodder.

Long Range Potential: Quality, gritty power forward, when healthy.
