Parise scored a goal and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Sharks.
Parise registered a game-winning goal and five hits in Friday's 5-4 win over the Penguins. This was his 1,200th carer contest.
The scoring touch he exhibited for much of his career has largely disappeared in his late 30s, partly due to some serious injuries, but his willingness to work hard and play with grit is still there. He remains defensively responsible and has grown into an adequate penalty killer, but the 10-time 20-goal scorer has seen his offensive game drop off badly. Is still willing to sacrifice his body in front of the net on the power play.
