Plays with an abundance of energy and displays excellent playmaking ability. Owns above-average hockey sense, poise and versatility. Produces good numbers at lower levels. Size will always be an issue, especially when toiling as a forward in the National Hockey League. Is not a natural shooter. Lacks game-to-game consistency at the highest level.
