Has very sound offensive instincts from the back end, and can quarterback the power play at lower levels. His shot is of good quality, so he can score goals from the point. Does not have ideal size (6-0, 191 pounds) for the National Hockey League game, so he could stand to add bulk and get physically stronger in order to maximize output.
