Johnsson (lower body) signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Penguins on Friday.
Scouting Report
A smooth-skating forward with a scoring touch and the ability to get to the right places to put the puck in the net, he also sees the ice well and creates plays for his linemates. Has overcome asthma to get to the NHL. Can play up and down the lineup but appears to be at his best when he plays on an offensive line, where his skills come to the fore and his lack of size is not as big an issue.
Long Range Potential: Complementary winger.
