Hicketts signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 at the NHL level with the Kings on Friday.
Scouting Report
His mobility is a major weapon, as he is able to jump into the play and support the offense with aplomb. Is also adept at being in the right position defensively most of the time. Lacks ideal size (5-8, 175 pounds) for the National Hockey League game, so he will need to add more bulk and get physically stronger in order to maximize ice time in the big league.
Long Range Potential: Solid, mobile defenseman with upside.
