The smallish forward returned to the NHL with renewed confidence after two seasons in Switzerland, where he was a point-per-game player. His game grew and developed during his time away from the NHL, with his solid offensive skills combining with improved play away from the puck. He will never drive play but is a good complementary player. A lack of ideal NHL size will always be his biggest bugaboo. Also lacks consistency.
